Opinion:

This song caught my attention on the 1st episode. Her voice is unique and not squeaky like most Japanese singers. I’ve watched the live japanese drama in one day. There are 11 episodes. In the live action version, the main character is an office lady while in the manga, she’s a high school student. But, the storyline and the ending are still the same. No, I haven’t read the manga but my friend told me what happened so I can’t really compare them.

Some differences:-

Gaku in both versions are the same – radical, appeared out of nowhere, irresponsible, an “average” person but other than that, he’s a lot older and does not where weird cosplays(it’s better like that =.=)

Soushi does not wear glasses in the live action series.

Shirley was haunted by her memories and she’s confused whether if her friends were real or not. Because of that, she called Suzaku out for a meeting. When they both met in the train station, they ran into Lelouch who was making some preparations for a train. At Ashford, Viletta asked Rolo why he betrayed them. Rolo replied that if she’s trying to interfere his relationship between his brother. Suddenly, the alarm went off. It turned out that Jeremiah was on the school ground killing bodyguards and asked the location of Lelouch. He had a small fight with Sayoko but she had a hard time hitting as Jeremiah’s body is metallic.

At a ruin, Bartley rold Cornelia that their intention is to kill Gods. Cornelia said there’s no such thing as Gods. Suddenly, V.V appeared out of nowhere and agreed that gods with wings or old men with beards. Cornelia tossed a knife at V.V’s forehead and said that the child might use some kind of a Geass. However, V.V was fine and said that he swore to kill Gods.

The fight continued at Ashford and Rolo arrived and activated his Geass. But, Jeremiah canceled the Geass’s effect and knocked Sayoko down. Viletta approached and told him where Lelouch was and asked him to save her. Meanwhile, Shirley was having a hard time deciding if she should tell Suzaku. She asked herself if Suzaku and Lelouch were working together since both of them have the same ambition. She was so afraid that she climbed at the end of the ledge. She lost her balance and fell. Lelouch managed to grab her arm. Shirley wanted him to let go but he refused as he didn’t want to lose anyone and finally convinced her to stop.

Lelouch got a phone call after he saved Shirley and talked about the old days. Rolo told him that Jeremiah was coming but it’s going to be hard as Suzaku was around. Shirley dragged Suzaku as they realised that she’s there to meet Suzaku not him. Lelouch was glad that she’s under Suzaku’s care. Lelouch pressed a remote stick which then released smoke in the whole building. He used himself to lure Jeremiah up to the train platform.

Shirley told Suzaku that she likes Lelouch and asked if he likes him or not. Suzaku claimed that he used to like him until Lelouch had done something unforgivable. Shirley responded that she had forgiven Lelouch a long time ago. Suddenly, an explosion occurred from inside the train station. Suzaku decided to take control of the situation and left Shirley with the police. Shirley ran away because she was worried about Lelouch. She entered the building and picked up a gun.

Lelouch activated Gefjun Disturbers with his remote and because of that, Jeremiah couldn’t able to move because his body used Sakuradite. Lelouch asked Jeremiah the location of the group Jeremiah is working for. He responded that Lelouch was the one who’s suppose to talk. Jeremiah asked him why he became Zero and made enemies with his own motherland, Brittania. Lelouch revealed that he’s Lelouch Vi Brittania and told him because of his father, he lost his mother and Nunnaly lost her legs and eyes.. This surprised Jeremiah. Jeremiah knew what happened because he was there as a guard but failed to protect Marianne. He became Zero for Marianne’s sake. Lelouch realised that Jeremiah was there not to kill him. Jeremiah told him that V.V wasn’t his master but Marianne. Lelouch turned of the Gefjun Disturber and got Jeremiah to confirm that his loyalty wasn’t over yet.

Shirley ran into Rolo somewhere in the train station. She asked him if he likes Lelouch. She wanted to join Rolo and made Lelouch happy. Rolo activated his Geass as Nunnaly’s name was mentioned. Lelouch then found Shirley covered with blood and a wound above her stomach. Shirley who was in Lelouch’s arm, was glad to see Lelouch. She stopped Lelouch from calling help. She talked about how she was afraid when she regained her memories. Shirley’s eyes were starting to close. Lelouch activated his Geass and ordered her to stop dying. But it was no use, Lelouch couldn’t do anything but cry. Her last words were no matter how many times she’s reborn, she’ll fall in love with him.
