It was confirmed that they’re making an American Version of “Death Note” which was adapted from the manga with the same name by Tsugumi Ohba.

According to the newspaper, the two paper sheets both say “Watashi wa Kira dess,” an apparent misspelling of the Japanese phrase “Watashi wa Kira desu,” or “I am Kira (Killer).”

Looks like there’s an otaku who believes that he can create a perfect world. He calls himself Kira. He can’t even spell “desu”.

To tell you the truth, I’ve seen many similar cases of students writing names in their “Death Note” but I’m too lazy to post them all. This shows that the students are really stressed out. Death Note is corrupting the minds of the children and these are just thinking of getting rid of people they hate. It will eventually reach to the next level when people kill and claim that they are Kira just like the Belgium incident.

Lets give him a chance 8D He might be good at it.

And since he was in High School Musical which means he has a huge amount of little children as fans. Imagine those little children watching Death Note just to see him and they will try to imitate what “Zac” did in the movie.

It’s the beginning of summer holiday

It’s summer holiday. It’s the time of the year when people started to forget about school and work and have fun. I’ll be going back to my old country next week.

After a few months of no junk food, my parents finally let me gobble up all the junk food anytime I want. My parents had only allowed me to consume a little amount of junk food excluding chocolates since the beginning of the year. It was hell, I tell you. One KFC meal per month. Now that the final exams are over, I’m going to start enjoying myself.

Since it’s the beginning of summer, insects have stopped hibernating (do they hibernate? they just appeared out of nowhere) and they are lots of them now. The most common insects I’ve seen crawling around the house are cockroaches. They just won’t disappear and how did they get in the house.

Lelouch was looking at the reports that Sayoko wrote while thinking that the Knights of Rounds problem isn’t cleared yet. He was shocked when he knew that he kissed Shirley. Sayoko who thought that it was fine to do that asked if something’s wrong. She told him that if she didn’t do it, the underground HQ will be discovered. Rolo scolded Sayoko that she acted too nice as a substitute. Viletta mumbled that the problem about the Knights of Rounds seems to have disappeared. Sayoko revealed tomorrow’s schedule and had received 108 dates. Her reason was that she was ordered to handle human relationships smoothly and because of that Lelouch had only less than 3 hours of sleeping.

Meanwhile, Shirley was thinking about Lelouch while taking a shower. She asked Milly if they could discuss about something after this but Milly responded nothing and she seemed a bit troubled. And so, Lleouch had no choice but to follow the schedule. When he returned to Ashford, he tried to sneak away from Shirley but he was approached by Anya asking him if the picture of the young prince was Lelouch. He denied it. Then he was interrupted by Gino and chased by a group of girls. He accidentally bumped mad Shirley but fortunately, he was saved by Milly who was announcing that there’ll be Cupid Day on her graduation day. Everyone will wear heart-shaped hats, and when a girl takes a boy’s hat and puts it own, the two will be forced to become a couple.

Somewhere at the meeting room, the Knight of One Bismark told Schnizel, Odysseus, Guinevere and Carine that the Emperor decided to declare war on the Chinese Federation. Guinevere thought it’s unforgivable for shaming Odysseus eventhough he didn’t mind. Guinevere felt that things would have been easily settled if Cornelia was there. They asked who’ll lead the army and so, Schnizel stepped out and took command. Bismark reported what Schnizel had said to the Emperor.

Cornelia had been assaulting where Bartley was single-handedly and she promised to clear Euphy’s name. She jumped out while Bartley were discussing. He told her that they were forced to be there by the Emperor. Gino tried to convince Suzaku to come to Milly’s graduation day but he had to attend a meeting. Guilford told Suzaku to call Milly later. Suzaku was surprised because it was unexpected. Lloyd interrupted and started to discuss about Guren. Kallen who was locked up at the moment was being visited by Nunnaly.

In the underground HQ, Lelouch decided to deal with all the girls on Cupid Day. He wanted Villetta to take his hat but that will cause a misunderstanding and she suggested taking Shirley’s instead. But, Lelouch did not want to involve Shirley anymore. Milly announced the entire school that whoever brings her Lelouch’s hat will get their club budget increased ten-fold. Everyone was chasing Lelouch to get the increase budget.

Lelouch was safe in the library until a girl managed to take his hat. He had to use his Geass to get his hat back. He changed his position with Sayoko in disguise. Sayoko managed to avoid the students with her ninja moves. Lelouch warned her not to do that as Lelouch was known as weak. The ‘seduction/slut’ club tried to seduce him but he shouted that he’s not interested in women’s bodies. Thing started to go out of control as Anya used Mordred to catch Lelouch which made Suzaku and the Brittanians on alert.

Mordred crashed in where Shirley was. Lelouch grabbed Shirley and fell down the nearby stairs. Lelouch and Shirley were alone. He couldn’t make up a reason why he kissed her. She forgave him and asked him to close his eyes. He thought that Shirley was going to kiss him but she pinched his cheeks instead. Guilford was confused. Gino told them that it was just an event that the school made. After Milly graduated, she took a job as a TV weather forecaster and cancelled her engagement with Lloyd while Lloyd was laughing out loud. Milly wanted to show Nina that she’ll have her on way.

The following day, Shirley was walking through the streets and suddenly a blue wave occurred. It came from Jeremiah’s left eye. V.V called it the Geass Canceller which is the destroyer of all Geass. This caused Shirley to regain her memory back that Zero killed her father.

Thoughts:

Now we know that Sayoko was the 37th generation of a ninja clan. Have you realised that the animation quality is bad compare to previous episodes? The only part that made me go “ooohhh” and “ahhhh” is when Jeremiah revealed his Geass. I don’t really like the idea of ShirleyxLelouch. I don’t know why and come to think of it, C.C hadn’t appeared in this episode. Shocking. The ’slut’ club really cracked me up.

Lets attract people by discriminating and block them!

I know that everyone already realised about this news months ago but I really want to write about this since Veoh was my favourite place for entertainment. As you all know, the website had stopped providing service to multiple countries around the world in late May 2008. As of June 2008, visitors in the vast majority of countries, including Asia, portions of Europe, Africa, Central America and South America, as listed below, have reported being blocked, experiencing a similar message for their region. No proper announcements were made before they blocked the countries. The reason was they had too low traffic.

Here is the latest list of blocked countries I found from the Veoh forum itself. Apparently the original maker of the thread portrayed the countries as “Low class countries and full with poor people”. It’s offending but it’s kinda true. The company stated that the decision was made in order to focus on the more than 33 markets in which it has the most viewers.

Veoh blocked some international access

It’s not surprising that a lot of users were really frustrated and some claimed that they’ve just finished downloading the Veoh TV. I was shocked as well. My friend was really furious that she couldn’t watch her yaoi anime and she is still going on about it (Don’t ask). On the last day of the exam which was the end of May, I was so excited that I was finally free from schoolwork and I can watch videos all day long! Imagine going through all the hard work at school and you thought that you could release your stress by watching some videos. Unfortunately, wishes don’t come true. Why? Are we not worthy enough? I don’t think I’ve seen any announcements except articles why the countries are blocked. They should have at least announced it before blocking the countries.

“Unfortunately Veoh will be ending service in your country due to a low concentration of users. Veoh is maintaining markets when we have the highest concentration of viewers.”

LAWL~ I just had to quote that for some reason.

And they blocked countries that are not wealthy enough for them. I’m sorry, is that how you call professional marketing? Discriminating is not going to advertise the website. Half of the users are frustrated because of the discrimination while the other half are just furious because they can’t watch their videos. I’m one of those people who got stabbed because their country isn’t “wealthy” enough to view the videos from their website.

But! There is a solution to this problem. Since I only watch anime and asian dramas and if you have the same interest as I do, I would recommend the website Crunchyroll. Although, they don’t allow uploading licensed series and it doesn’t have the “download now” button too. Some people also created some kind of a hacking scheme to unblock the website.

That’s it for my rant. Ah well~

P.S When I think about it, I shouldn’t take it personally. It’s just a website 8D

The grandmother threw the dry cookie away and started to tell them that bad substitutes have to be put on sale and it’s a shame that a chocolate shop doesn’t have any chocolates. She said that no matter how hard they tried to vote, nothing will change.

Louise sighed and she thought about giving home-made chocolate for Valentine’s Day. The boys were eager to know who is going to receive the chocolate from Louise. Instead, she changed the subject about the “great rumor”. She told them that they still trade chocolate secretly in the sealed coal mine on the outskirts of the town.

The boys decided to investigate the coal mine. One of them found a chocolate wrapper and claimed that it smelled like chocolate. The wrapper led them to a round steel and something was written on it. It says :

“Here is the ancient island of the Maya. Treasure found by Columbus. Head for the greatest land, the end of the route.”

The thought that it might be some kind of a code.

This show is a bit exaggerating but I don’t mind wasting my time watching this. It’s only 3 minutes. So that means the existence of chocolate gives an impact to our lives. Who knew. I might go insane without chocolate. We need unhealthy food once in a while.

Thoughts:

Who knew Shiki used to have split personality because she didn’t show it on the first chapter. This chapter is far more interesting than the first one because I really wanted to know Shiki’s past. The violents in this chapter is also more gruesome and the moonlight scene never fail to amaze me.

The next chapter is going to be about a clash between families and how Shiki lost her left arm.

I’ve made up my mind to not write the summary of the movie so I’ll just post the screen shots. I don’t have any particular reasons. Seriously, I have to regret myself for avoiding the movie when it was being released on the internet but the animation caught my attention. I have to admit that this movie was absolutely fantastic. The animation was great, not to mention Häagen-Dazs appeared several times in the movie and the bloody part, arm dissection and the doll part gave me the chills eventhough it’s just a cartoon. The moonlight scene was the best and the character designs were decent. The part that surprised me the most was when Touko revealed that Shiki used to be a doll. Creepy.

Mikiya is actually one of the main characters but due to the fact that he’s in a coma in this chapter, he only had his part at the beginning. On the bright side, he’s going to play a larger role on the next chapter.

So the white-haired demon loves Twenty Faces so which means it’s a “she”. Then again, a “he” might be possible.

White Hair Island (白髪島)

Chiko was having a trip to an island with her aunt and her maid, Tome. She remembered when Twenty Faces showed her a gemstone which was one of kind and only the Twenty Faces had it. But, to her surprise, she saw the exact same gemstone in a movie preview. The island they were heading was where the film was currently shooting. The request was convenient for aunt and to her, it will be the last vacation Chiko will have. Chiko was out to find Twenty Faces while her aunt was plotting to get rid of her.

They’ve finally reached their destination. Meanwhile, Ken was threatening a man about the location of the gemstone. Tome had a feeling that something bad was going to happen and she asked Chiko to bring her wherever she goes. While they were walking to the place they’re going to stay, the guide person told them that the island used to be a research place. They took all the natives on the island to use for human experimentation. The only left were old people which is why they called it “The White Hair Island”. Suddenly Ken passed beside them and he gave a signal to Chiko to don’t say anything. None of them recognized him except Chiko herself. Chiko was glad that he’s alive.

A worker ran towards them and reported that the producer had been murdered and the gemstone was stolen. In the house, everyone gathered. The guide person mentioned the stranger they met at day time and thought he was the murderer. Chiko’s aunt thought that it would be a great set up to get rid of Chiko. Chiko saw a light outside. It was from Ken’s cigarette. She approached him and was going to give him a hug. But, Ken was angry and asked the location of Twenty Faces. Rain started to pour heavily. He told her how he waited and waited but nobody showed up. He felt abandoned and lost everything he had.

The rain had finally stopped. Chiko and Tome were setting up the bed. Chiko wanted to sleep on the floor but Tome said that she’s used to it because she had a huge family. Chiko had a memory that she used to sleep everywhere when she was with Twenty Faces; in trains, on the deck of boats and even on park benches. Chiko and Tome ended up sleeping together on the floor.

Chiko woke up in the middle of the night. The sight of the radiant gemstone led her to an abandoned research facility. A white-haired demon approached Chiko while wearing the gemstone and revealed that there were actually two of those gemstones. Chiko’s performance disappointed he/she (?) and assumed that she was just a child. She tried to escape but end up captured and being tied to a dissection table. Chiko managed to escape while Ken was distracting her. She made up a plan and captured the demon. After he/she’s (?) last words, the white-haired demon became a doll.

The next day, Tome found her sleeping under a tree. On their way back home, Chiko was thinking about what happened yesterday. Her aunt was about to push her overboard from behind but she managed to turn around which led her plan to fail miserably.

P.S I don’t know the real gender of the white-haired demon. Some people said he was a guy.

The telepathy girl Ran [1st opening-Aoi Kakera] & [1st ending-

The opening of the anime “The telepathy Girl Ran/Telepathy Shojo Ran” is called “Aoi Kakera (青いかけら)” by “Chara” while the ending is “Polaris no Namida (ポラリスの涙)” by “onso9line“. The animation is kinda old but the beginning of the series is interesting. It’s about a 10-year-old girl who posses supernatural abilities and so does her friends. There are going to have 26 episodes and the running time for each episode is 25 minutes.

Thoughts:

There were some interesting parts. However, the whole thing doesn’t interest me. I guess I’m just going to check it out once in a while but I’m not going to write about it. The reason I didn’t include any screen shots of the ending is because the video is basically a person running throughout the song.
